555!

555 is a new event for 2025. I had been planning this for 2026, but after such a positive response I have speeded up the planning to be able to release it for the end of the 2025 season.

5 Marathons on 5 Islands in 5 Days!

A total of 211km / 131miles

There is also the 5 loops on 5 Islands in 5 Days!

This is a total of approximately – 55km / 35 miles.

Runners completing the marathon, will run the designated amount of loops around each island, plus a final section to round up to a marathon distance.

Each day you will have 6 hours and 30 minutes to complete your marathon. This equates to a pace of 9:15 min/ km or 14:45 min/mile.

Those doing the single loop version will have 6 hours to complete their loop, opening this event up to walkers and even families.

There will be a dry venue on each island used for the start and finish line with access to toilets and hot and cold water. 

Runners can leave a kit bag with personal food/fuel at the start point where they can top up on each loop. 

For this event, I strongly reccomend staying on St Mary’s.

St Martins – 10km per loop. 4 loops and a 2km.

Tresco – 10km per loop. 4 loops and a 2km.

St Agnes – First loop, due to tides, no Gugh, 5km.

Followed by, 4 complete loops of 8.9, then a 1.5 extra.

Bryher – 7.7km per loop – 5 loops plus another 3.7km.

St Mary’s – 17km per loop – 2 loops plus a final 8k.
